rci 2995 dx dims more help needed

when i key the freq counter and the meter lights dim when trans.please help i can not find any info on where and how to test this radio.what voltages i should have or what freq on the test points please help?

I have a 2995 that did the same thing. I had to replace the two voltage regulating transistors on the back side of the radio they may have a cover over them the transistors are 2n3771. replace with nte 181
