Galaxy FC148 Frequency Counter Modification

Here is a little trick I found for the galaxy FC148 frequency counter to work on the galaxy 33 that has been modified for CB channels.

  1. Remove the pc board from the case.
  2. Remove the metal cover on the pc board.
  3. Remove the jumper at JP and reasemble.
  4. Now it will plug in and work like it is suppose to on the galaxy 33
  5. (I dont know about the other plug in models as this is the only one I have messed with)
