The coils are 4 turns of number 16 enamel wire,1/2 an inch in diameter and 1/2 inch long, they are mounted with a distance of 1/2 inch seperating the coils, the input and output connections are joined to the coils at a 1/2 turn away from the end where they are attached to the case.

The capacitor is tunned by tuning into a signal at around the middle of the 2m band and adjusting the capacitor for the highest received signal strengh.
