i recently installed two of these in cobra 29's one works fine all the time, the other works fine if the truck it is in is not running if you start the truck the beeps run fast and higher pitch and somewhat distorted any ideas to fix the problem would be appriciated

how much does the supply voltage change from engine off to engine running?
