superstar 3900

needing help with Superstar 3900(dirland)..radio receives well but there is very low modulation..roger beep shows alot of forward swing...but when u whisle it might go a watt or so..it has a couple toys in it..not for sure if one might be hooked up wrong..no paper on toys in radio..has the pink panther/talkback/roger beep and a echo board with out the control knob..any help would be apreciated..Rob T

The plan would be to put the radio back to stock making note of the wiring no your toys. If the then works ok try installing the toys one at a time. Hope this helps.

this is something that was on my mind to unhook all of them..but im not 4 sure if wires that r hooked to mike jack now inside of radio r where there supposed to be..as it is a radio i bought off ebay..wires could be hooked up wrong from the previous owner when installed...

Just put the radio back to stock using the circuit diagram or take it to someone who can.
