I have a 696f mobile that has good receive and talkback is loud.no out put from the finals.I just moved and can not find my books that has the voltages at the final and driver.anyone help with this.this radio has had the finals volted and has 13 volts on collector leg and 0 on emitter and about .72 on the base when keyed.nothing when unkeyed on the emitter and base leg.It has been setting for about 1 year and just got it out and found this problem when I hooked it up.the driver has .72 on the base when keyed and nothing e and c.unkeyed nothing on any of the legs.

If the driver and final are ok, then it sound like the bias is missing, check the hot side R which feed bias pot it should be about 8 to 8.5 volts, also check the choke feed the base you may find they are o/c.

thanks Rick,
as I had said I can not find all my equip from the move and the radio rode 1000 miles bounching around in a truck and what it had done after you pointed me a place to look in the bias and I started checking some more volts and found L35 had broke loose at the trace .repaired it and all was good.
