Realistic power mic pin out

Hello
i am trying to wire a realistic power mic to a midland 77-882 radio
i wired it as follows
white-pin 1
sheild-pin 2
black-pin 3
red-pin 4 there is a extra yellow wire
i get receive but when i key up it does not transmit
the question is does the yellow wire have to be connected ?
and did i wire the plug right?

Check out a site I believe it is called (cb intl) , this guy has a great site for wiring mics to basically any radio.Try a google search for cb international , the guys name is Lou Franklin, try searching that also
