Galaxy DX-77HML Overmodualted help

Post by speedracer6g »

I have a galaxy dx-77hml that is overmodulated and flat topping on the scope. I fixed tr-53 and the tr32 and removed the swing kit. i looked until i was crosseyed and i cant find anything else that was hacked up. i checked a couple transistors in the amc circuit and they all check ok. the modulation control pot still has no control over the modulation limit. i did find hovever that there is supposed to be .7 volts on the base of tr32 and it is not present. I am still looking for the problem but i was looking to see if any of you well seasoned guys (rick) might be able to shed some light on my problem.

thanks,

Mike
